Absurd, and for sale

A can of dehydrated water. A USB rock that does nothing, correctly. A pillow you are meant to hit. Rasamia collects things that read like a punchline and turn out to have a price on them. Every entry opens a live search, so you can go and look for yourself.

The Catalogue
USB Pet Rock
Plugs into a USB port. Draws no power, installs no driver, does nothing at all — and does it on Windows, macOS and Linux alike.
Search AmazonDehydrated Water
A 16 oz tin containing, by the label's own account, pure organic air. Directions: add 16 fl oz of water.
Search AmazonGiant Enter Key
A soft, oversized Enter key on the end of a USB cable. Built to be hit with a fist rather than pressed with a finger.
Search AmazonTortilla Blanket
A round double-sided flannel blanket printed as a flour tortilla, so that a person on a sofa becomes a burrito.
Search AmazonToilet Golf
A contoured putting green, a mini club, golf balls and a 'do not disturb' sign. For the longest four minutes of the working day.
Search AmazonBug-A-Salt
A small shotgun loaded with ordinary table salt and pointed at houseflies. No batteries, no chemicals, considerable follow-through.
Maker's siteNicolas Cage Sequin Pillow
Gold sequins one way. Nicolas Cage the other. The change is made by hand, slowly, in front of whoever is in the room.
Search AmazonPrank Noise Board
A chip that chirps, beeps or imitates a cricket every five to twenty minutes, at random. Taped under a desk, it is a sound nobody can locate.
Search AmazonMoldy Sandwich Bags
Zip bags printed with convincing green mould on both sides, so that nothing is taken from the office fridge again.
Search AmazonQuestions
Are these things real?
They are real enough to have been put up for sale. Rasamia owns none of them, has tested none of them, and does not track stock or price — which is why each entry opens a search rather than a product page. What is on offer today is what you will see.
Where do the links go?
To a search for the object's name, usually on Amazon. Not to one particular seller: listings for objects like these appear and disappear constantly, and a link to a single seller would be dead within the year. The Bug-A-Salt entry is the exception — that one goes to the company that makes it.
Do you earn anything from this?
No. There are no affiliate tags on any link here, nothing is sold on this site, and there is no advertising. If an entry is here, it is because it was worth writing down.
One of these searches comes back empty.
That happens. These are novelty objects with short lives, and a search that returned a shelf full last year can return nothing this year. Entries that go dead come out at the next sweep.
THE TEST
What makes the cut
Something that sounds invented and has a price on it. Three kinds of object pass, and one page explains them.
